16 Oct 2015	The 2016 Seafarers Church Service will be held at St Paul’s Cathedral at 10:30 on 16 October 2016 and it will be followed by the Navy Wreath Laying Service at the Cenotaph at the Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne at 12:30. 23 Oct 2015	Navy Week Bowls Tournament - Victoria The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and the Naval Commemorative Committee of Victoria (N.C.C.V) are calling all bowlers to come and enjoy a day on the greens as they invigorate the NAVY WEEK bowls tournament. 24 Oct 2015	Navy Week "Geoffrey Evans" Trophy Race The Navy League of Australia -VIC-TAS Division will, with the support of the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria, be holding its annual Navy Week "Geoffrey Evans" trophy race on Saturday 24 October at 1400. The race is open to yachties in Port Phillip. · The RYCV "Geoffrey Evans" yacht race application is to be made direct to RYCV. They will advise the details. · The RYCV yachts generally offer to take on board one of the fifteen Naval Recruits or Trainees that FND send up for this Race. ANCadets may also be involved. · The Navy League "Geoffrey Evans" Trophy is awarded to the first yacht across the line after handicaps are calculated. · In addition The Navy League of Australia Vic-Tas Division offers a prize to the skipper of the first yacht across the line carrying Navy or FND representative. · Prizes are also given to the Navy/FND persons on board that yacht. · The Navy League with the co-operation of the RYCV caterers provides a light luncheon and an after race BBQ for Naval race entrants who sail. · The Senior naval Officer HMAS Cerberus will be invited to present the trophy to the winning yacht after the race.
